SocialDay Announces New Members Joining the Social Media Fest 2026 Programme Committee

LONDON, UK - 20 Nov 2025

SocialDay has announced three new additions to the Social Media Fest 2026 Programme Committee, strengthening the team shaping the agenda for the UK’s biggest celebration of social media marketing.

Joining the committee are:

  • Ruth Lee, Citypress

  • Marcus Foley, Tommy

  • Nicole Mezzasalma, Battenhall

These new members bring a wealth of expertise across agency leadership, creative strategy, newsroom-style social, and culturally responsive brand storytelling. Their input will help ensure the festival features a wide range of perspectives, formats and conversations that reflect the real work happening across the industry.

They join existing committee members James Erskine (Rocket), Jon Quinton (Overdrive Digital) and Lucy O’Brien (The Times and The Sunday Times), with more to be announced soon.

Magalí Mas D’Amato, Marketing Manager at SocialDay, said:

“One of our biggest priorities for Social Media Fest is making sure the programme genuinely reflects the people who make this industry what it is. Having Ruth, Marcus and Nicole join the committee means we can continue to build a line up that covers a diverse mix of voices, disciplines and lived experiences. Their insight will help us shape conversations that go beyond trends and tap into the realities of working in social today.”

The 2026 edition of Social Media Fest will take place in May 2026 in London and is set to be the festival’s most ambitious programme yet, spanning strategy, creativity, culture, AI, community building and the evolving role of social teams inside organisations.

More committee announcements will follow in the coming weeks.
