SocialDay Announces Programme Committee for Social Media Fest 2026
SocialDay has announced the first members of the Social Media Fest 2026 Programme Committee, the team helping to shape the agenda for the UK’s biggest celebration of social media marketing.
SocialDay has always been about bringing the industry together, no gatekeeping, no jargon, just real people sharing what actually works in social media. The 2026 edition of Social Media Fest will be the biggest yet, and this new committee will ensure the event delivers genuine value to the community that built it.
The first confirmed members of the committee are:
James Erskine, Rocket
Jon Quinton, Overdrive Digital
Lucy O’Brien, The Times and The Sunday Times
Together, they’ll help curate sessions, shape discussions, and ensure the festival reflects the realities of today’s social landscape, from strategy and storytelling to data, creativity, and culture.
Lydia Woellwarth, Editorial and Operations Manager at SocialDay, said:
“Social Media Fest has always been about community and collaboration. This committee brings together brilliant minds who understand what it’s like to work in social right now: the challenges, the creativity, and the constant change. With their insight and input, 2026 is set to be our most valuable and relevant event yet.”
Further committee members will be announced in the coming weeks, ahead of the festival taking place in May 2026 in London.
